THE FIELD GUIDE / GETTING STARTED

Dragonkind game Your first steps into Threshing.

The Dragonkind game is Rebecca Yarros’s interactive Threshing experience. Start at the official website, prepare for email access, and understand what happens before and after a dragon bond.

This independent Dragonkind game guide keeps the first visit simple. It covers the public entry screen and the author’s published help, with reader reports identified separately. You do not enter your email or verification code on this website.

Where to play the Dragonkind game

The official address is dragonkind.com. Its public entry screen credits Rebecca Yarros for the story and includes an email field. The site’s privacy policy identifies Yarros Ink. A similarly named guide, merchandise shop or fan quiz is a separate destination.

Open the official site in a browser and follow its current candidate or returning-rider prompts. Keep that tab available while reading this page. Our Dragonkind game guide cannot see your account, issue a login code or change your result.

Before you start the Dragonkind game

Tick these preparations before opening the Dragonkind game. This checklist is only a reading aid; it does not create an account or save progress with the official website.

Before you enter

You can change any checkmark. These boxes send nothing to Dragonkind; whether the browser retains a checkmark after refreshing is not a record of game completion.

Email access and a missing code

The author’s Dragonkind FAQ says codes are delivered in batches and recommends checking spam. A missing message immediately after requesting one is therefore not enough to diagnose a failure. Check the address you entered and allow for that delay before assuming your attempt was lost.

Use your code only in the official Dragonkind game. If the entry screen will not respond, note what you can actually see—an unavailable button, a blank page or a specific error. These symptoms differ from finishing a story attempt and being asked to wait.

What to expect from your first attempt

  1. Enter and follow the story

The Dragonkind game is an interactive story. MoodReads describes entering Threshing and choosing how to respond to encounters. Read the options on your own screen; this introduction intentionally leaves their outcomes undisclosed. Our <a href="/dragonkind-threshing-answers/">encounter strategy guide</a> explains how to compare choices without promising an exact dragon.

  2. Keep your assignment

MoodReads reports receiving a wing, section and squad before entering Threshing. Record those labels if you want to compare assignments with friends. This is a player report, not a promise that every future screen will have the same layout.

  3. Continue, bond or try later

Death during the Dragonkind game does not end all your chances. The author confirms that you may try again after a few hours and keep trying until you bond. Follow the remaining time displayed by the official site. Set a <a href="/dragonkind-retry-timer/">personal retry timer</a> from that notice.

Reading a Dragonkind game result

MoodReads’ reader-report summary lists a dragon’s name, tail type, sex, age, color and lineage on shared bond cards. Treat the diagram below as a field map, not an example of a result we obtained. Your actual card is the record to keep.

Read color and tail type separately. A color describes one characteristic; a tail label describes another. Our Fourth Wing dragon guide explains the novel’s terminology. A lore description alone does not prove a probability or winning answer in the Dragonkind game.

Wing, section and squad

When comparing a Dragonkind game assignment, keep all three labels together. A matching dragon color does not establish that another player belongs to your squad. Share the assignment you intend to compare, rather than a screenshot that also reveals your email or code.

“Quadrant” is a different grouping in the books. A fan questionnaire about which quadrant suits you does not reassign your wing, section or squad in the official experience.

A game, a quiz or the book?

The Dragonkind game, a personality quiz and the Threshing Day book answer different requests. Choose the official game to take part in its story. Choose our original Fourth Wing dragon quiz for a separate fan matching exercise. Its result does not become an official bond.

The publisher also offers a signet quiz. That is distinct from future signet features discussed by Dragonkind players. For the book and the fictional ceremony, see Threshing Day in Fourth Wing.

For an access or display problem, choose a symptom in the Dragonkind troubleshooting guide. For a signet wait, the signet countdown guide separates an account notice from an unconfirmed community date.

Dragonkind game questions

Do I need an account or a download?

The Dragonkind game provides browser access and asks for an email. Its privacy policy describes accounts for some services. Follow the official prompts; this guide requires neither an account nor a download.

Is the Dragonkind game free?

The public entry screen we checked did not request payment. We have not audited every logged-in feature. Check any terms shown by the official site; reading this guide and using its checklist are free.

Can I choose a color or reset a bonded dragon?

The author says every color and tail type is possible, but that is not a promise of a selectable outcome. We have not verified a way to replace an existing bond. Retrying after death and resetting a bonded account are different requests.

Does my dragon’s name have a verified translation?

Not every unfamiliar name has a demonstrated Gaelic meaning or pronunciation. Keep the exact spelling from your card and treat unsourced translations as suggestions. A resemblance to a real word is not enough to confirm an origin.

What about Archives, bonus material and public notices?

Explore the official site’s available navigation and the author’s linked material. We have not completed every logged-in area, so this guide does not promise an unlock, hidden reward or easter egg.
